Behind the scenes at MeiraT video shoot with Elizabeth Savetsky of Excessories Expert

We were so thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot our very first MeiraT video. The setting had to be the streets of New York, an homage to MeiraT and the brand headquarters. Our model couldn't just be anyone. We wanted someone beautiful of course, but we wanted someone real- a jewelry devotee who personifies the MeiraT lover! A happenstance meeting brought us together with fashion blogger Elizabeth Savetsky of Excessories Expert. She is the perfect combination of sophistication, beauty and edge. She braved the cold and rocked the jewelry and blew us away with her talent.
We shot in the Nolita area around Bowery and Prince street. We couldn't resist using this wall, ironically its a wall outside a production studio which we found out as people were coming and going.
Our co-designer Brigitte adores Opal, so of course she pulled opal pieces when styling the shoot. It happen to have gone perfectly with Lizzi's eyes and skin tone but opal is so versatile it works with all types of coloring. Check out this necklace, it's the perfect opal starter for layering.
Thanks to one of our favorite restaurants Bread in Nolita for allowing us to use your fantastic space to shoot some of our footage. There were so many fine details that lent to the overall artistic edge that we wanted for the shoot. We loved the rustic walls, colorful tables, and wine wall.
Such a great spirit- it was a freezing day but Lizzie is all smiles and professionalism!!
Loving these shoes and knapsack!
We can't wait for the final cut of the video! We can't believe how amazing the video came out...stay tuned!
